Roseline is a fourth-year PhD student from Nigeria in Languages and Cultures specializing in Francophone literature in the College of Liberal Arts. She received her bachelor's degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and master's degree from the University of Ibadan. Roseline hopes to contribute to literary discourse, promote cultural understanding, and even educate, creating a more profound aspiration for the diverse voices in the Francophone literary landscape. She feels Purdue's comprehensive French literature program will equip her with critical analytical skills and cultural insights. Why did you choose Purdue?
When I applied to Purdue, the Graduate Student Government Secretary was the most welcoming and helpful person. Her warmth and support made a lasting impression, creating a positive initial experience. Additionally, Purdue's offer was the most compelling among the schools where I was accepted. The combination of a friendly atmosphere and an attractive offer solidified my decision to choose Purdue University for my graduate studies.
